Eastern Pygmy-Blue is a tiny locally common inhabitant of the Coastal salt marshes and salt flats where its hostplants, dwarf saltwort (Salicornia bigelovii), Virginia glasswort (Salicornia depressa) and perennial glasswort (Sarcocornia perennis) grow in open areas. it may also use Saltwort (Batis maritima L.). It flies from late April to October, which suggests three generations. Early date: April 25 (Chatham County); Late date: September 29 (McIntosh County). Conservation Status: Secure.
